On a “Game Day” there will be an estimated 720 football players/cheerleaders and 240 volunteer coaches/assistant coaches. In addition to these volunteers are the team parent, referees, chain crew, field maintenance/support, announcers, gate workers, concession workers, medical staff, security, and a host of other fundraising booths setup all over the field and this is only “Game Day”.
There are hundreds of hours given by volunteers throughout the year before the Charlotte Warriors ever take the field. Volunteers are working behind the scenes all year to clean/service/order equipment, maintain the facility, attend administrative/coaching clinics, attend to the responsibilities of a non-profit corporation, setup dates/times for registration and physicals, and fundraise.
In addition to the 11 man tackle, the Charlotte Warrior Volunteers are donating their time in other functions for the Charlotte Warrior Youth, such as: flag football, 8 man tackle, track & field, speed & agility clinics to name a few.
